Rotor cup & bearing — supplied for semi-automatic open-end
machines as a complete assembly; rotor, cup and bearing as one balanced unit.
Cups are also available on their own, to re-cup a bearing that is still
serviceable. Bearings run from 70,000 rpm to 110,000 rpm.

— a single-piece rotor for Autocoro 8–11 automatic rotor-spinning

Coating — what the D and N suffixes mean
The coating is the last part of the rotor type:
T 34 DD is a T-groove 34 mm rotor with DD coating.
D
Nickel-diamond coating for extended lifetime.
DD
A second diamond layer — the longest-lasting option.
N
Smooth nickel top layer for sensitive fibres. On its own, steel rotors only.
DN
D coating plus the smooth nickel top layer.
DDN
DD coating plus the smooth nickel top layer.

Semi-automated OE machines (Schlafhorst/Oerlikon/Saurer BD-series,
Rieter BT9xx/R3x, Taitan, Rifa). Supplied as one balanced unit — rotor, cup and bearing.
Complete assembly — cup and bearing
as one balanced unit. Shown: T 34 D.Cups on their own, without the
bearing. Shown: D / DN coating.
Cups can also be supplied separately. Where the
bearing is still serviceable, the cup alone can be replaced instead of the complete unit.
